WHO ARE WE?

The Concordia Anti- AIDS Association starts in 1994. Its vocation is to help the growing need of those people affected by HIV/AIDS. The people that due to different reasons need specialized services. Its premises are in San Pedro at Carlota Navarrete 21- ground floor. The schedules are from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Monday and Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

In April 1997, with the aim of meeting the needs of this group, Concordia opened its Day Centre in San Pedro de Alcántara. The Centre´s mission is to carry out a programme of informative and preventive advice campaigns specially designed to brake the advance of HIV infection, and to ensure the comprehensive care of AIDS patients and those infected by HIV, their families and contacts.

The committee has 14 members who volunteer their time in determining Concordia's managment strategy and structure and developing Concordia's servicea and activities and deciding how best to employ the funds raised.
